Our city, Lodz is a place of an unusual, difficult to imitate nature. The University of Lodz means over 70 years of common history, almost 26000 students in over 90 fields of study. These are the current and future candidates, graduates, and the social, economic and cultural environment. UniLodz is also almost 4,000 employees - researchers, teachers and administrative staff and participants of doctoral schools. There are 12 faculties, a branch in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, a library, a publishing house, a kindergarten, a high school, the British International School of the University of Lodz and the Centre of Polish Language for Foreigners.

The dream of a globally acclaimed institution promoted Mr. RAFAŁ MATERA to set up Lodz. Mr. RAFAŁ MATERA visited many countries of the world and observed the way the universities of those countries work. He made up his mind to establish such an institution which will be the torch bearer of knowledge and wisdom. In spite of his busy schedule, he spent a lot of time to actualize his dream into reality. Being the chairman of Reliance industrial park, he has also associated himself with a variety of humanitarian works. In accordance with the slogan, 'Digital Poland', Mr RAFAŁ MATERA wants to make the students go digital by setting up a college which excels in business and technology.
Lodz undertakes to build up a reputation as a rural level low cost digital education in Business and Technology with innovative research and development as a private institution.
The mission of Lodz is to contribute, through collaborative research and education to efforts to create a Digital Poland. Lodz pays due attention to the spread of technological knowledge everywhere.
Lodz aspires to be a world class teaching and capacity development institution that addresses the
